Creating Worlds
There are two ways you can create a world. Once you have created a world, there are many fields you can change to flesh out the world. See World editing for how to tweak it to your liking.
AI Assistance[edit]
You can have the AI autocomplete the fields of your world for you.
Note: This will consume credits from your account.
Click the "Create your own adventure" button at the top of the front page. A popup window will appear where you can describe what kind of world you'd like to create.
Once you're done describing the world, scroll down and select an art style (what style the adventure's generated pictures should adopt). Don't worry if you do not know what the styles look like. This can be changed later when you are able to generate previews and doesn't affect the cost of creating the world.
You may also select which AI you want to send the instructions to. There are, as of writing, two options: Lion and Wildcat. Lion is the more intelligent, creative AI. Wildcat is perfectly capable of handling your world creation, but you will want to review its output to make sure there weren't any oddities--it frequently has issues creating player character skills, for example. The other main difference is cost. Wildcat costs ~50 credits to use for building adventures. Lion can be much more expensive, depending on the amount of detail you provided.
Finally click "Build my adventure!"
Once you receive a pop-up that world building has begun, it will take between two and ten minutes for the AI to process the instructions you typed and fill in all the fields. You can go do other things while this is happening. You will receive a notification when the process completes, and you will see your new world show up in your list of worlds on the front page.
Blank Template[edit]
If you do not want to use credits to create a world, you can start from an empty template. To do this, search through Community Worlds at the bottom of the main page for "Blank Template". Click "Make copy" on the right to add a copy to your world list which you can then edit.
There are two versions of the template available, "Blank Template" and "Blank Template (SFW)". The only difference between these two is whether the "Mature Content" box is checked or not. This can be changed later, so it doesn't matter which you use.
Copy a World[edit]
Your final option is to copy another user's world (using the "Make copy" button as seen in Sharing worlds) and edit it. This can be useful to see how others have made their worlds and get ideas for your own world. Note that using this option will also funnel credits to the original creator of the world as you play your edited copy. It does not cost more to play edited worlds, but you will receive fewer bonus credits from others playing your edited copy.
